The CBC Zambia Immersion project was started in 2003 and takes place every two years under the leadership of Simon Kelliher.
Keep an eye out for CBC students busking, bag-packing, selling cards or organising other fundraising activities during the school year 2010/11.

... to be held in CBC on Thursday, May 12th 2011 at 8.30pm.
This promises to be a great night with all proceeds going to the Zambia Immersion Fund. He will be joined on the night by the Cobh Chamber Orchestra, the CBC Choir (under the baton of Ms. Catherine Costello) and staff members Ms. Catherine Welch & Ms. Teresa Nolan.
Tickets (€25) are available from CBC, Veritas on Carey's Lane and www.liamlawton.com
Please circulate this to as many past pupils of CBC as you can. If you can attend on the evening, I would encourage you to buy a ticket as soon as possible as demand is high whenever Liam Lawton performs.
Kind regards,

We would like to sincerly thank all our friends and sponsors who supported us so generously in our recent fundraising.
In particular, thanks to everyone who made the 'Night at the Dogs' and more recently our 'Race Night' a great success.
Some fundraising is carried out within CBC, with every family donating to the annual Christmas appeal, and we are greateful to the CBC PPU for their unsparing donations.
But without the immense support of the wider Cork community, these pages could not tell such a happy story. This project works in the spirit of Edmund Rice, to care for those who are less fortunate and to promote social justice.
Thank you for your compassion and continued generosity.
